History of Fireworks in Japan.
Japanese fireworks are said to be the most beautiful, entertaining fireworks in the world.
Lately we can see rare shapes like micky mouse or kitty cartoon charactors, I wonder how fireworks men create them.
Some of Japanese fireworks changes it shapes two or tree times in one fireworks.
Actually these fireworks can be seen only in Japan for now.
The technology of fireworks has been improved year by year.
Fireworks' history had begun when King in Qin ( China BC221-BC202 ) used some black powder as a signal rocket for the first time. The black powder came down to Roma, Italy, through the silkroad, and then, ancestor of fireworks started in Firenze, Italy.
In 16th centry ( about 400 years ago ), fireworks came down to all over Europe.
In Japan, black powder came in 1543 with guns.
It became fireworks in 1613, Edo era.
Gradually foreworks men added some chemicals and studied to make them better. They try lots of experiments.
Thanks for them, we can enjoy great fireworks in summer all over Japan.
